Police Nab Third Plainview Burglary Suspect

Driver in Felice Lane burglary arrested on Baldwin street Friday.

Three months after Nassau County Police collared two men in the act of burglarizing a Plainview home, they caught up with a third suspect.

Roy Wilson, 19, of Baldwin, was arrested Friday and charged with first-degree burglary in connection with a Feb. 11 incident on Felice Lane as well as multiple vehicle and traffic law violations.

Police arrested Wilson without incident on Atlantic Avenue in Baldwin.

Jahvis P. Williams, 19, and Erwin Ulysse, 20, both of Baldwin, were arrested Feb. 11 after fleeing the Plainview home. At the time, police were looking for a third suspect who served as the driver.

Williams and Ulysse were seen entering the rear yard of a Felice Lane home, police said. Officers entered the yard of the home and observed Williams inside the home opening the rear door to allow Ulysse access inside.

The defendants fled out the front door of the residence onto Felice Lane and were located a short time later. Two officers were injured – none seriously – while making the arrest.

But the driver got away. Three months later, police have the third suspect.

Wilson will be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.
