“We felt that meeting a real soldier would make the significance of July 4 and what we are celebrating that much more meaningful for the children”, said Sari Kahn, director of Ruach in Plainview.

“The Fourth of July is a great time for everyone to enjoy the wonderful activities planned by Ruach Plainview,” said Assemblyman Michael Montesano (R, I, C-Glen Head). “I’m looking forward to taking part in Ruach Plainview’s Fourth of July Picnic and encourage the Plainview community to take part in this event and help honor our shared history and heritage as Americans.”
