Snow, Wind Chills Below Zero in The Plainview Forecast

Temperatures set to take a nosedive following another dose of snow.

Long Island will likely see 1-2 inches of snow Thursday night into Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

The snow, on the heels of a blizzard that dropped more than 2 feet of snow on some parts of Long Island, will be followed by an arctic front that will cause a “massive drop in temperatures” Friday afternoon, the NWS says. Wind chill temperatures are expected to dip below zero on Friday night as winds gust to near 40 mph.
