$3,000 Worth of Knives Stolen from Port Chester Store

Lock on display case broken.

Kitchen knives valued at more than $3,000 were stolen from a display case at a Port Chester department store, according to Port Chester police.

Workers at the Port Chester Bed Bath & Beyond store noticed that 25 J.A. Henckels knives were missing and they discovered the lock on the Henckels display case had been broken.

Police said the knives were valued at $3,180.

The knives have not been recovered and no arrests have been made in the theft.
