Burglary at Chinese Restaurant on Westchester Avenue

The owners of a Chinese restaurant on Westchester Avenue say that $600 was stolen from them between 1 p.m. on June 29 and 12:30 p.m. on June 30, police Lt. James Ladeairous said.

Someone broke the lock to the front door and smashed the register on the floor. They allegedly stole $300 in cash and $300 in coins. Police are investigating the incident.
