CT Woman Charged in $287 Theft at Port Chester Store

Police: Jewelry taken from Kohl's.

A Connecticut woman is charged with petty larceny in connection with the theft of $287 worth of jewelry from a Port Chester department store, according to Port Chester Police.

Ana Macariegos, 22, of 243 Fairfield Ave., Stamford, CT, was arrested on Thursday after workers at the Kohl's store off Boston Post Road complained that she took eight necklaces, earrings and a bracelet and left the store without paying for the merchandise.

Macariegos faces a hearing in Port Chester Village Court.
