Officials to Consider Municipal Center on Poningo and Irving

The Port Chester Board of Trustees will consider building a municipal center that would include a police station, courthouse and village hall at tonight’s Board meeting, Trustee Saveriio L. Terenzi said.

The current projections are based on a conceptual plan that calculates the center would cost the city about $1,587,000 after it collects $100,000 in expected revenue that would be generated by a parking structure there.

“Based on these preliminary projections as of December 31, 2018 the Village would be required to borrow approximately$24,000,000 to retire the Ban's,” Terenzi wrote in a proposal to the Board. “The debt service requirements based on a 20 year bond at 4% interest rate would be $1,687,000.”
