[UPDATE] Overnight Storm, Winds Cut Power to 250 Con Ed Customers in Port Chester
3,700 customers throughout Westchester affected.

UPDATE (2 P.M.) - Con Ed reports there's just one customer with a power outage in Port Chester, with wires down in the area of King Street and Halstead Avenue.

The overnight storm that brought rain and high winds has knocked out power to about 250 Con Edison customers in Port Chester.

The storm has cut service to about 3,700 Con Ed customers throughout Westchester County. In Port Chester, most of the outages are reported on Greyrock Road North near I-95.
Among the hardest hit neighborhoods throghout the county are in Mount Vernon, Yonkers and North Castle. Power outages and downed trees on roads led the Bedford public schools to delay the start of classes for two hours this morning.
