The board’s packed Dec. 23 agenda also covered Playland’s Ice Casino rehab, shelter and security contracts, youth jobs, eviction prevention, and telecom upgrades across the county. 
• Classic rock singer to release first new album in 17 years: ‘It rocks hard' (syracuse.com) — Port Chester gets a brief spotlight as Lou Gramm and Foreigner’s current lineup recently performed at The Capitol Theatre, even as the classic rock singer prepares to release his first new solo album in 17 years.
