PC Woman Slices Boyfriend's Face with Broken Glass, Police Report

A 41-year-old Port Chester woman was arrested after allegedly admitting to slicing open her boyfriends face and arm with a broken glass on June 1, according to police Lt. James Ladeairous.

Rosaura Ceballos-Almonte of Weber Drive, Port Chester, admitted to police that she broke a glass on her boyfriends face after they got into a fight at their apartment around midnight. The two were fighting because she wanted him to leave but he would not leave, according to the police report.

When police arrived, they followed a trail of blood through the apartment and found the boyfriend in the back bathroom trying to treat deep lacerations on the left side of his face and on his left arm. The 27-year-old man was transported to Greenwich hospital and needed 55 stitches for his injuries.

Ceballos-Almonte was charged with second-degree assault, a felony, and taken to Port Chester jail and held on a $25,000 bail. Ceballos-Almonte did not make bail and was transported to Westchester County jail. She will return to Port Chester court on June 7.
