Back to School: Tips for a Successful School Year 
on Monday, September 23 at 7:00pm.                                                                                                             Set your children up for success! Learn practical tools for establishing and maintaining a daily routine and hear helpful advice on how to ensure healthy eating habits at home and at school. We will also provide recommendations on how best to communicate with your child’s teacher. Bullying on Monday, October 21 at 7:00pm.                                                                                                             
 Bullying and cyber-bullying are repeated actions that make other students at school feel badly about themselves.  It has become more and more common, and as a parent, you are likely to confront this   issue. This workshop will cover facts about how Dignity Act can protect your child and review steps parents and children can take to prevent bullying and to take action when it occurs.  For more information or to sign up for these programs, please call (914)939-6710 x103. 

Tobacco Use in Port Chester on Monday, November 18 at 7:00pm.                                                                                                             
 Tobacco is one of the most addictive substances, and unfortunately, it is very prevalent in the   community.  This workshop will display the Photovoice project created by Port Chester High School students in July 2013 to address the issue of tobacco use, and will feature a discussion about how to talk to your child about the risks of smoking.  For more information or to sign up for these programs, please call (914)939-6710 x103. 

Is that Food or Medicine?
On Monday, December 16 at 7:00pm.      

 Have you ever accidentally cleaned with the wrong chemical or swallowed some shampoo by mistake? This workshop will review commonly found poisonous chemicals in the home and what to do if you accidentally swallow or expose your skin to a dangerous chemical.
