Theft of Tires from Port Chester Shop Interrupted
Alloy rims, tires recovered by Port Chester Police.

A set of four tires and alloy rims were recovered by Port Chester Police before thieves could get away with the items taken from a Port Chester auto shop.
Police said they received a report of a possible theft of tires at about 2:49 a.m. Wednesday at Greenwich Automotive, 11 Hillside Ave. When village officers arrived, they found the tires and rims hidden in bushes near the shop.
Police contacted owners of the shop, who told them that the tires and rims had been stored outside just outside of the shop during the previous day.
