Westchester's Rinconcito Salvadoreño Stars On Guy Fieri's Hit Show
The family-owned Salvadoran restaurant has been a beloved institution in the area for almost three decades.

PORT CHESTER, NY — The episode of "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives," featuring an appearance of Port Chester's own Rinconcito Salvadoreño, will air this month.
The episode of the hit Guy Fieri show is scheduled for broadcast at 9 p.m. on September 8, on the Food Network.
In May, Fieri was in the area to film an episode of his show "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" at Rinconcito Salvadoreño.

The family-owned Salvadoran restaurant, located at 20 Broad St., has been a beloved institution in the area for around three decades. They say that they provide their "customers with a piece of El Salvador in each dish."

Two brothers, Adan and Frank, made the journey from El Salvador, and started their own restaurant in Jamaica, Queens 40 years ago. In 1993, Frank opened Rinconcito Salvadoreño at 17 S. Main St. in Port Chester, later relocating to Broad St. in 2001. Various family members throughout the years have helped to run the restaurant.
