An accident near Old Town Road involving an unknown number of vehicles backed up traffic heading westbound on Route 347 earlier this morning. According to police, the accident happened at 8:09 a.m. A Terryville Fire Department spokesperson said that no firetrucks responded to the call but one ambulance was sent to the scene. It is not known at this time the extent of any injuries. We will update this story as more information becomes available. Did you pass this accident or get stuck in traffic as a result?
