Blogger: Things get Busy When the Tourists Come Back to Port Jeff

A blogger on the Me4PortJeff.com website knew it was springtime in Port Jefferson when she almost ran over a gaggle of elderly ladies casually taking in the sights on the streets of the village a few weeks ago.

Using the pen name Wemmick, the writer talked about how her job fixing sandwiches at picks up around this time of the year. From solitary worker practicing air judo (you have to read the article to understand) Wemmick sees the need to call on extra hands to serve the sudden influx of tourists.

And who else can a young woman call on for help when she needs it but good ol' Mom?

In her post Wemmick recounts her day with her mother, teaching her how to roll wraps (like carpets), dealing with odd customer requests (tuna sans tuna) and working through equipment woes.
