Branch Pick-Up in Western Port Jeff Starts Monday
Friday is final day of pickup in middle part of the village.

The Port Jeffrson Village branch pick-up program started this week, with the final day of pick-up in the middle part of the village ending on Friday.
Next week, pick-up commences on the west side of the village, starting at the Port Jefferson/Setauket line and making its way eastbound to the west side of Main Street. That route will run until April 12, when pickup will begin in the eastern part of the village.
Running April 15 through April 26, branch pickup will take place from the east side of Belle Terre Road through the eastern border.

While branch pickup will be unavailable again until October, the village public works department does pick up small tied bundles of brush, no more than four feet long and 25 pounds, throughout the summer.
The DPW reminds residents: "All branches must be out by the first Monday of the start of your area, as we cannot be on every road at the end of your scheduled pickup!"
