Crimes Nearby: Mt. Sinai Man Allegedly Robs Rocky Point Church

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Rocky Point

Charles Killian of Mt. Sinai, was arrested Oct. 5 in Rocky Point and charged with 3rd degree burglary – illegal entry with intent, a felony. Killian allegedly entered St. Anthony of Padua Church through an unlocked door and fled with property belonging to the church.

Melissa Kust, 31, of Rocky Point, was arrested Oct. 2 in Coram and charged with third degree robbery, a felony. According to police, at 1:32 a.m. Kust stole a pocketbook from a woman while she was seated in a vehicle. Police arrested her short time later on Route 112.

Sound Beach

Richard McGee, 25, of Sound Beach, was arrested in Sound Beach Sept. 29 and charged with fourth degree grand larceny, a felony. McGee allegedly stole a pocketbook from a shopping cart at the Stop and Shop in Miller Place on Sept. 8.

Stony Brook

Felix Rodriguez, 33, of Stony Brook, was arrested Oct. 3 and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a felony. Police said they found multiple credit and debit cards belonging to another person during a probationary search of Rodriguez's home.

East Setauket

Police are investigating an incident of fourth-degree criminal mischief in which an unknown person broke a window in an unoccupied, boarded-up house on Old Town Rd. in East Setauket, then used a hose from an outside water source to flood the basement. The incident, which was reported by the owner of the home, took place sometime between noon on Sept. 21 and noon on Oct. 5.

Smithtown

Ricardo Guillaume, 24, of Ronkonkoma, was arrested in Smithtown on Oct. 5 on eight counts of first-degree robbery while displaying a firearm, a violent felony, and one count of resisting arrest, a misdemeanor. Reports state Guillaume displayed a weapon and demanded money from eight victims througout September.

Anthony Fazio, 26, of Smithtown, was arrested in Smithtown on Oct. 1 and faces a felony charge of fourth-degree grand larceny, with property value exceeding $1,000. Police said Fazio was arrested on Oct. 1 stemming from a June 30 incident where he allegedly took pop-up tents from the Commack Fire Department.

Riverhead

Noel Castaneda, 26, of Riverhead, was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and leaving the scene of an accident on Oct. 7 at 7:58 p.m., after Castaneda was involved in a car accident on Sound Avenue in Mattituck, police said. After the crash, Castaneda fled eastbound on foot and was found a short time later by the Southold Town Police K-9 unit. Castaneda was found to be intoxicated, arrested and transported to police headquarters in Peconic for processing.
