Edna Louise Spear Elementary School Students Go On Treasure Hunt

Edna Louise Spear Elementary School pre-K students in Susan Giglio’s and Gina Santini’s classes are learning all about shapes in art class. Art teacher Meghan McCarthy worked with the students to create pirate hats, treasure maps and treasure bags.

“We went on a treasure hunt around the art room to find shapes,” McCarthy said. “Students made artwork with their found treasures.”
