Firefighters Rescue Trapped Diners From Long Island Restaurant
Flash flooding (see photos/videos inside the story) led to some wild scenes on Long Island Tuesday.

Firefighters had to rescue numerous people from a Long Island restaurant Tuesday night as heavy rain caused flash flooding.
Diners became trapped inside Old Fields Restaurant on Wynn Lane in Port Jefferson and firefighters needed to wade through waist deep water to rescue them. People at Theatre Three on Main Street reportedly also needed to be rescued. No injuries were reported.
A flash flood warning was in effect for all of western Suffolk County Tuesday night, but the North Shore certainly got the worst of it. More than four inches of rain fell in Setauket, according to the National Weather Service. Check out the photos and videos below that were shared on social media.
