The new Bowman 2013 baseball cards released today and are going fast at Never Enough Cards in Port Jefferson Station.
According to co-owner Lisa Stellato, collectors are "rookie-crazy" right now as young players like Bryce Harper and Mike Trout continue to play well.
"The Bowman literally just came out today and it’s really hot," she said.
Aside from Bowman, traditional Topps Baseball sets continue to sell well.
"It's tradition," Stellato said. "Everybody collected Topps when they were a kid and now they have kids and they collect with their kids, so it’s something that always sells steadily."
Another popular product the store features is the Cooperstown Baseball set by Panini which Stellato said did very well last year. The new series is set to come out sometime in July.
