Student-athlete leaders from the volleyball, soccer, tennis, golf, cheer, football and cross-country teams brainstormed with Athletic Director Mr. Adam Sherrard to discuss leadership characteristics and responsibilities. With refreshments provided by the Royal Athletic Club, the group shared their leadership experiences, struggles and successes.

“I was very impressed with the group’s eagerness to share their thoughts and experiences of leadership with me and their peers,” Mr. Sherrard said. “The goal of the exercise was to foster leadership not only in athletics but throughout our classrooms, hallways and the community. It’s exciting to see their leadership skills now, and I look forward to witnessing their growth and expansion throughout the school year and beyond.”
