The Gap In Port Jefferson Village Is Closing

The Gap in Port Jefferson will close in April after 25 years in business.

Last month, the Gap announced it would close 230 stores, and an employee confirmed the Port Jefferson location at 100 Arden Place will close on April 25.

The Gap said the 230 stores closing would shutter over the next two years while the retail company restructures. The retailer will split into two publicly traded companies: Old Navy and a store that hasn't been named yet.
