Hounds on the Sound 3K Raises Money for Save-A-Pet

The 13th annual Hounds on the Sound 3K Dog Walk and Adoption Event to benefit Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center takes place on Sunday at Memorial Park off of West Broadway in Port Jefferson. (Across from .) Registration begins at 10 a.m. and kick off is at 11 a.m.

The walk features vendors, food, contests, raffles and live music. Animals will also be available for adoption from Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center.

• 10 a.m. — Registration Begins.
• 11 a.m. — Walk begins.
• 11:30 a.m. — Festivities begin. Games, food vendors, various demonstrations.
• 1:00 p.m. — Contests begin: Biggest Dog, Smallest Dog, Best Trick, and Best Costume, Owner/Dog Look-alike.
• 2:00 p.m. — Canine Fashion Show. Fashions by , Doggy Boutique and Bakery.
