- A bicyclist from Massapequa was airlifted in serious condition to Stony Brook Hospital on Saturday morning. A Sedan struck the 41-year-old man on North Ocean Avenue in Holtsville. (Patch)
- Port Jefferson residents can visit the Indoor Farmers Market regardless of the cold weather. Local vendors, artisans, and bakers are now inside the Village center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Every Sunday. (Port Jefferson Village)
- Protestors were outside the district office on Northern Boulevard in Queens to request Rep. George Santos's resignation. Protests started last month after the New York Times published

- Cameras caught a man ripping down a Black Lives Matter sign at Stony Brook University. The incident happened outside Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at midnight on Oct. 26. Police are asking anyone with information about the matter to contact the police. (Three Village Patch)
- If you want to learn about knee and hip replacement, Port Jefferson Mather Hospital is hosting a webinar on Wednesday, Jan. 18, at 7 p.m. If you are interested, register at matherhospital.org/orthowebinar. (Port Jefferson Patch)
- Port Jefferson will be packed with ice sculptures created by artist Rich Daly for the Winter Ice Festival. The event kicks off on Jan. 28-29 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days! Parking is free in the village during the winter, and the festival is admission free. (Port Jefferson CofC)
