Local Baton Twirlers Win 26 Gold Medals At The 2024 Junior Olympics

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY- From July 25-27, 2024, twenty-five local baton twirling athletes from the Suffolk County-based Titanium Twirlers had the honor of competing at the 2024 Junior Olympic Games for Baton Twirling in Greensboro, North Carolina. This prestigious competition is held annually by the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), where over 16,000 athletes compete across 20 different sports.

Titanium Twirlers athletes competed in both team and individual events against athletes from across the United States! Their teams are taking home 2 Gold Medals, 1 Silver Medal, and 2 Bronze Medals! In individual events where athletes competed in one, two and three baton events, Titanium athletes won 24 Gold Medals, 10 Silver Medals, and 19 Bronze Medals. The total medal count for the Titanium Twirlers came in at an impressive 55 Medals total for their time at the Junior Olympic Games!

As Titanium Twirlers transitions to TNT Twirlers, the foundation of the organization remains the same; a local 501(c)3 non-profit organization, with a mission to grow the sport of baton twirling while instilling the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork and positivity in young athletes.
