- A man was shot Tuesday morning by a woman he knew outside of a Coram deli, Suffolk police said. The shooting occurred at approximately 8 a.m. in the parking lot of a small shopping center at 16 Middle Country Road, according to detectives from Suffolk Police's Sixth Squad. The victim was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was admitted in stable condition. The shooter fled the scene and detectives are attempting to locate her. (Newsday)
