- Port Jefferson Station/Terryville Chamber Spotlight: A book walk — also known as a story walk — is an innovative and delightful way for people to walk outdoors and enjoy a bit of reading. You’ll find a half dozen handcrafted wood podiums for a new book walk, installed in the park at the Port Jefferson Station/Terryville Chamber of Commerce Train Car. The story of the Port Jefferson Station/Terryville Chamber of Commerce-early 1900s Train Car comes to life as you walk from page to page. It includes fascinating photos of when it was transported through our streets to its present location. (tbrnewsmedia.com)
- Business News: Give Kids Hope opens in Port Jefferson: The Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting for Give Kids Hope, Inc. on Thursday, Sept. 23. - The Brookport, 5 years in the making in Port Jeff, celebrates its opening: The project, by The Gitto Group, took five years to get where it is today: a fully leased, three-story, mixed-use residential and commercial project with amenities like a fitness center and a furnished rooftop overlooking the Long Island Sound. The complex, where Cappy’s Carpets used to be located, is next to The Barnum House, also a project by The Gitto Group. (Greater Long Island)
- BWW Review: You Will Be 'Hopelessly Devoted' to Theatre Three's Production of GREASE. The acting company at Theatre Three did a phenomenal job. Jon Sawyer Coffin and Jenna Kavaler both really made the roles of Danny and Sandy their own. They were both hilarious and charismatic as Doody and Roger. They really gave these characters new life especially musically with their performances of some of the score's underrated gems such as: "Those Magic Changes," "Mooning" (fabulously harmonized with newcomer Alanna Rose Henriquez) and "Rock and Roll Party Queen." (Broadway World)
