  1. Port Jefferson Documentaries Series Spring 2023 kicks off on Monday, March 6. Dr. Tony Fauci starts rolling at 7 p.m. with guest speaker Mark Mannucci presenting the show. This event will be held at Theatre Three. (Patch Events)
  2. Port Jefferson Mather Hospital is calling lifesavers to donate blood on March 2. If you are able, bring a friend with you. Did you know that one donation can help to save three lives? The drive will run from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. For more information, please visit www.nybc.org.(Patch)
  3. A home caught fire in Setauket on Tuesday around 1 a.m. The blaze was reported on Franko Lane. Ten different fire departments arrived at the scene. Unfortunately, police confirmed that five people were injured. (LI News12)
  4. Once again, Port Jefferson Mather Hospital hosts a free Diabetes Prevention Seminar. The program features professionals who will educate the public about how a healthy lifestyle and diet can prevent different types of the disease. The 6th Annual Golf Classic-Putt & Pub Crawl is on Mach 4, followed by The True Things Story Telling on March 11, and then the Classic Chili Crawl on March 18.
