  1. Port Jefferson High School athlete Aiden Kaminska passed away at his parent's home. Kaminska was 19 years old and graduated from Port Jeff High two years ago. He was on the path to pursuing his college degree at the University of Massachusetts. His death was unexpected. (News12)
  2. Drop in at the Port Jefferson Village Center to check the art exhibit "Our Beautiful Earth" on display until June 30. Long Island artists painted beautiful scenarios of nature and scenes from all around the world. (PJVC)
  3. Hooray for Edna Louise Spear Elementary School students who participated in the Mathematical Olympiads. Led by STEM teacher Dr. Kathryn Zvokel, student Austin Nam made it to second place in the competition. Congratulations! (PJSD)
  4. For all interested in who will be running in the Village of Port Jefferson Trustee elections on June 21, The Chamber of Commerce will host the "Meet the Candidates Night" at Port Jefferson Village Center on June 8 at 6 p.m. The event is free, and all are welcome. (PJCofC)
  5. Memorial Day was memorable for the Setauket neighborhood and its surroundings with the parade that started on Main Street. The Scouts, volunteer firefighters, the Ward Melville High School marching band, and other groups marched in honor of those who sacrificed their lives serving in the U.S. military.
