- Edna Louise Spear Elementary School art club students visited the Zuccaire Gallery at Stony Brook University's Staller Center. The fifth-grade students and art teacher, Meghan McCarthy, were welcomed by the director and curator, Karen Levitov, who spoke about the exhibit and engaged the students in hands-on activities. - Port Jefferson Free Library features three Wednesdays of an acting workshop, "Scene It." Learn some acting techniques while giving unique voices to characters and participate in performances during this interactive class. The workshop will be held on April 13, 20 and 27 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. (PJFL)
- We have less than a week before the Port Jefferson Easter Parade and Egg Hunt! The event, hosted by the Port Jeff Chamber of Commerce, will feature the Easter Bunny riding on an old-fashioned 'Easter Bonnet' on April 17, starting at noon! (PJCofC)
