- Stony Brook graduate, Alyssa O'Hara, had an imaginable surprise on her graduation. Her husband, who is a member of the Air Force, was there with flowers and a proud look. He is stationary in Alaska and worked hard to attend the event in person. (WABC-TV)
- Island Harvest is asking for different donations this year. The food pantry organization is well know for their good work in helping families in need with food but, this year they are also distributing toys and other necessities. (News 12 New Jersey)
- Edna Louise Spear Elementary School fifth graders amazed the audience on a beautiful winter concert on Dec. 2. Proud parents didn't save applauses and District Director of Music, Michael Caravello, welcomed everyone with historic music for the evening. (Press Release Desk)
- Earl L. Vandermeulen High School's Interact Club helped to make the season brighter by participating in the annual gift-wrapping event along with members of the Rotary Club of Port Jefferson. The event took a good part of the cafeteria where volunteers wrapped good amount of clothes, toys, books and other necessities that will be given to children.
