  1. Day Haven Adult Services were honored for its 35 years in serving senior citizens diagnosed with Alzheimer's and dementia in Suffolk County. The program offers therapy and engages patients in the community. Liz Fiordalisi and Elizabeth LeDonne are the coordinators of the sites in Port Jefferson and Ronkonkoma.   2. Terryville Fire Department responded to a house fire call on Sunday night where resident Catherine Davis, 83, died. The blaze happened at 58 Superior St. in Terryville. Catherine's husband, John Davis, 76, was critically injured. (Port Jefferson Patch)
