  1. In a recent interview with Patch, Port Jefferson Mayor Margot Garant said the building located at 156 West Broadway had been sold, and new owners intend to turn it into a deli. The new spot will have a great view of Port Jeff Marina; for now, internal renovations are on the horizon to turn the space into a food business. (Port Jefferson Patch)
  2. This is a friendly reminder that the first Port Paws Festival is happening this weekend! Families are welcome to attend the event that will be held at the Joe Earland Field on Caroline Avenue from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $10 per person; kids under 12 and dogs are free. (PJCofC)
  3. Abracadabra! Port Jefferson Free Library hosts "The Magician's Magic Workshop" for kids aged 7-12. Children will receive kits to perform the tricks they will learn in the event and an official magician certificate on July 25 at 1 p.m. (PJFL)
