  1. The Port Jefferson community is helping to search for a black Labrador mix that went missing after the home fire that claimed the life of resident Catherine Davis, 83, on Sunday, July 10. Neighbors gathered at Superior Street to search for the 6-year-old dog, Zeke. (News12)
  2. Legislator Kara Hahn is organizing a beach and park clean-up day. Volunteers in the Three Village, Port Jefferson, Stony Brook, and Setauket communities are being called to help to clean the McAllister County Park on July 20 and West Meadow beach on July 29 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on both days.
