1. The Port Jefferson Dragon Boat Race Festival kicks off Saturday with an opening ceremony at 8:30 a.m. The 8th annual fest is hosted by our Chamber of Commerce, featuring performances, arts, food vendors, and more! The race starts at 9 a.m. (Port Jefferson Village)
2. The Staller Center announced a comedy night with actor Kevin James in January 2023. Tickets are expected to go on sale on Sept. 15 at 10 a.m. at stallercenter.com. James, who was born on Long Island, performs at the Center for the first time. (TBR News Media)
