  1. The Port Jefferson Ferry was evacuated due to a bomb threat on Tuesday at 1 p.m. The Bridgeport Police receive a call alert about a bomb on the ferry. No threat was found, and no arrests were made. (Port Jefferson Patch)
  2. The Davis Town Meeting House Society will host its annual Yard Garage Sale and Craft Fair on Saturday, Sept. 10. Free crafts for the children and live entertainment will be offered from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at 263 Middle Country Road, Coram. (Facebook Events)
