Theatre Three has been providing good entertainment to our community since the late 1960s; its work is not just on stage but also hosting food drives to help keep the Infant Jesus Church food pantry full. This Sunday, from 9 a.m. to noon, the Theater will be hosting another drive of personal care items and food that can be donated at 110 Hawkins St. (off Myrtle Ave.) in Port Jefferson Village. 2. Three Village Historical Society is bringing a unique event in honor of celebrating Flag Day. For the first time, an annual US Flag Retirement Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, June 14 at 5 p.m. at 93 North Country Road, Setauket. (TBR News Media)
3. The Maker Faire was back in Port Jefferson after two years of cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students had a chance to showcase their robotics and other technology creations at Harborfront Park on Saturday. (Port Jefferson Patch)
