1. Port Jefferson Golf Outing '22 kicks off on Thursday. The shotgun start is at 1 p.m. The event is open for all residents and businesses for $50 per person. (Port Jeff Village Center)
2. This month, Long Islanders are walking to prevent Alzheimer's disease. Around 1,500 gathered at Belmont Lake State Park to raise money to support the research of the disease, a brain disorder that affects memory and thinking ability. 3. Port Jefferson Middle School students are studying speed and acceleration, trying to find ways to measure it.
