- Graduation day will never be forgotten by six Port Jefferson High School seniors who responded to a fire call right after the ceremony. A garage caught on fire on Arlington Avenue on Friday night, and the new graduates heard the siren and rushed on duty with the Port Jefferson Fire Department crew. (News 12 Bronx)
- An exhibit hosted by the Sidewalk Alley Inc. will feature local artists on Sunday, July 10. The work of Mac Titmus, David Arteaga, Rober Bellassai, and other artists will be displayed at 3 p.m. at 41 N. Country Road, Port Jefferson. (Patch)
