1. Phase four of the Mather Hospital expansion plan was approved in Port Jefferson. The Village Board announced the good news on June 9, moving forward to expand the parking lot. (TBR News Media)
2. Port Jefferson skies will light up on July 4! Fireworks and patriotic music will make the night memorable with a display full of colors on the shores of Jones Beach. Parking will be free starting at 5:30 p.m. (Patch Events)
3. Drop in on Wednesday, June 22, at the Port Jefferson Free Library for a fun family Beach Blanket Bingo. The games start at 7 p.m. don't forget to bring your beach blanket or towel. Snacks will be a plus. (PJF Library)
