1. Port Jefferson parking and mobility administrator Kevin Wood updated the Port Jefferson Village parking situation at the last board meeting. Barnum Avenue has 25 new parking spots, which increased the capacity for the first time in decades. Security cameras are also rolling 24/7 in all parking lots in the village. (TBR News Media)
2. Travis Dickson from Brooklyn was arrested for driving while intoxicated and provoking a car crash accident that seriously injured a 9-year-old boy on exit 63 on the LIE. Angel Salis, 9, was taken to Stony Book University Hospital. (News12)
3. Babies Beach Blanket is set for Wednesday at the Port Jefferson Free Library. A unique program that includes music, movement, and circle time is planned for the little ones at 10 a.m. (PJFL)
