- The Rogerâs Frigate owner, George Wallis, is facing a citation for hanging an anti-Cuomo sign in the front of the ice cream store. Village Judge Tara M. Higgins initiated the citation that claims the sign violates the ordinances. Mayor Margot J. Garant announced her intentions to appeal Higgin's decision. (Newsday/Subscription Required)
- Bruce Miller, who served as a Port Jefferson Village Trustee from 2014-2022, released a perspective article for TBR News Media about the infrastructure improvements needed for the Port Jefferson LIRR services. According to Miller, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority received $10 billion in grants from the federal government which the Port Jefferson line should be granted a portion. (TBR News Media)
