  1. LIRR Train users pointed out the lack of seating at the Port Jefferson Train Station. During an interview with TBR News Media, a resident said that elderly or disabled passengers don't have a place to sit during rush hour while waiting for the train. A new bench was recently installed outside the ticketing area, but the community hopes that a better layout will be arranged in the future. (tbrnewsmedia)
  2. For all who want to have some fun on Hump Day, Port Jefferson Brewing Concert Series will rock the Wednesday nights in the Village! Starting on June 1, at 7 p.m. each Wednesday of the month, all are invited to 22 Mill Creek Road. (PJCofC)
  3. Chess experts or beginners will have their chance to sharpen their skills with an instructor from the LI Chess Nuts. Kids aged 6-12 are welcome to learn and have fun on Wednesday, June 1, from 7 to 8 p.m. (PJFL)
  4. They say Yoga adds life to your years, so these years are yours if it's up to the Meadow Club. The 7th Annual United Nations Day of Yoga is set for June 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be meditation, vendors, and more! The event is free and open to the public. (tbrnewsmedia)
