- Musicians in our community have a place to go now in the heart of the Village with the opening of the West Lake Music guitar boutique on East Main Street. The new spot is "rocking" at 208 East Main St. in Port Jefferson and is owned by Mike Watson and a business partner. (Greater Long Island)
- Learn how to keep a Hula Hoop going at West Meadow Beach on Wednesdays starting in August. The Town of Brookhaven will offer dancing classes at the beach for $40 per 6-week session. For more info and to register, please call 631-363-5193. (TBR News Media)
