- Cameras caught a man ripping down a Black Lives Matter sign at Stony Brook University. The incident happened outside Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at midnight on Oct. 26. Police are asking anyone with information about the matter to contact the police. (Three Village Patch)
- The officer stabbed in Medford has been released from Stony Brook University. Two officers were transported to the hospital last week after a brutal struggle with a man involved in a fight with a roommate. The cops arrived at the scene in response to a 911 call. (Long Island News12)
