- Port Jefferson Mayor Margot Garant shared good news about the upper wall project at the Port Jefferson Country Club. The village received $3.75 million in grants through the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency to be invested in the revitalization. (TBR News Media)
- Port Jefferson will be packed with ice sculptures created by artist Rich Daly for the Winter Ice Festival. The event kicks off on Jan. 28-29 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days! Parking is free in the village during the winter, and the festival is admission free. (Port Jefferson CofC)
- Paws of War helped eight Mississippi puppies under harsh circumstances. The dogs are doing well and being well taken care of in the institution until they find their forever homes. (News 12 Hudson Valley)

- Port Jefferson Free Library is hosting the Winter Trees program this Thursday at 7 p.m. Kids in grades 2-5 will use natural twigs to create a winter craft. This event will be held in the Activity Room. (PJFL)
- Have you ever tried the Port Jefferson Annual Mac & Cheese Food Crawl? This event is for those who like to try different culinary experiences while having fun.
