Long Island Company To Bring Hogwarts Express To You Soon

PORT JEFFERSON STATION, NY — A Harry Potter-inspired theme trailer made to recreate the Hogwarts Express experience is in the works at Long Island Airstream in Port Jefferson Station.

The company plans to launch the new endeavor this month, making it available for parties of 25 people who will line up at Platform 9 3/4 where they get their robes and have a photo-op, and once they board, there will be a trolley similar to the movies with Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans and Chocolate Frogs, Newsday reported.

Company owner Thomas Francis told the outlet that people will "get the feeling like you are riding to Hogwarts,” adding, “We have custom built the interior of the airstream and fabricated each piece of the train from aluminum steel.”

The ride will cost about $2,799 per two-hour experience for up to 25 people, Newsday reported.
