The student organization at Earl L. Vandermeulen High School sponsored an annual holiday magic gift drive, which resulted in the donation of toys to 58 local children.
To celebrate the success of the drive, the student organization hosted its third annual ugly sweater contest, which student Joe Bardram won.

The Edna Louise Spear Elementary School Guidance Department also hosted a successful gift drive.
The annual Holiday Help program yielded donations of coats, boots and toys for 24 Port Jefferson children.

Also assisting in the effort was the Port Jefferson Fire Department. The organization donated funds to help purchase additional wish list items.
