What: Join the church for a different type of sale - every Saturday starting at 9 a.m. they open the doors of our red barn to everyone. New items being donated every week and all the proceeds from the sale go to support the church and its missions.

What: Every weekend the museum features a different hands-on investigation for little thinkers. This week it is clean it up. Kids build their own water filtration plant and learn how to clean up dirty water.

School of Rock Performs Queen

What: The kids from the put on a very special performance tribute to the mod godfathers of punk and rock n' roll, The Who. Come hear your all-time favorites and special deep cuts performed live.

What: Join the Port Jefferson Fire Department as it Block party following parade at the . Remember there will be street closings during the parade and block party.

Homegrown Music Café

When/Where: Saturday, June 9, 8 p.m. at

What: Kerry Kearney and Maria Fairchild performing Appalachian Diaries. Also Appearing We're All Just Passing Through and Sarah Dow at the Homegrown Music Café. Homegrown Music Café a monthly concert series featuring Long Island and Regional singer songwriters and bands. All net proceeds from the $5 donation at the door go to the St. Gerard Majella parish outreach program, which feeds and clothes hundreds of Long Islanders.

What: Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center, Inc. presents the 13 annual Hounds on the Sound 3K Walk and Dog Adoption Event. The day will be filled with live music courtesy of Act1Entertainment.net, food, vendors, contests, raffles and prizes. In addition, there will be animals for adoption from Save-A-Pet.
