Port Jefferson Village will play host to the Port Paws Dog Fest this weekend featuring a dock diving competition expected to attract around 160 dogs.
The event will also feature a lure course, and section with vendors and food trucks.

It will run 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Joe Erland Field on Caroline Avenue. Those interested can try out the dock on Friday night from 4 to 7 p.m.
